The 3 Hottest Spots For Eats, Drinkies & Instagram-ing This Summer In RI

C'mon, let's G-O on a mini tour (No flats, wide brimmed hats or sunnies required!) of the most popular places to see, and take tons of snaps at, this Rhody summer. Yeah, these are the three destinations you'll want to be checking in from on FB or sharing (So we're clear, Insta Stories is the answer for those of us always struggling with the temptation to over-share and over-post.) about on Insta starting now cats and kittens.

1. Clementine's

All the cool kids are uploading fotos from Clementine's Homemade Ice Cream on Main Street in EG this summer! Yeah, it's a completely adorable storefront on one of my personal fav routes in RI, and the ice cream is also outstanding. (Don't know 'bout you, but I'm a fool for handmade, small batch ice cream any time of year.) Another neat bonus - their dog friendly frozen treats that you should definitely pick up for the top dog or dogs in your life. (I mean, pretty much everyone has a dog these days, right?)

2. The Secret Garden

If you couldn't make it to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in the Hamps this year (hands down THE happening event of the summer for style blog superstars from all over as well as NYC's glam-iest movers and shakers...I met their PR person at a blogging conference in the Big Apple this past Spring btw.), then this is the next VERY best thing! This Ocean House collab with VC (one of the most famous champagnes on the planet) couldn't be more picturesque and delightful; it's pretty much tailor (Taylor who?) made for IG photo opps this season. Also an ideal spot to enjoy some champs, small bites and views with your squad.

**Shoutout to my fabulous FB friend Sherry D. for the green light to share these photos from her afternoon at The Secret Garden at the Ocean House in WH. TY!**

3. Scarpetta

Been to Goat Island lately? It might be time to revisit, mostly because everyone's raving about Scarpetta, the Italian restaurant at the brand-y new Gurney's Resort there (Their other one is in Montauk.), and the extreme makeover they've given the space formerly occupied by the Hyatt Regency. I had lunch recently with a stylish local business owner who told me all about the amazing time she'd had at the restaurant (and patio) with a few of her besties and how wow'ed she was with the fresh, updated look of the whole property, including the exterior with it's classic Adirondacks and fire pits. And of course, those spectacular views!
