You Can Get Your Dog's Portrait Done By A World Class Photographer & Wow

See this content in the original post

This Sunday, June 28th, my friends at Jack’s Snacks have a paw-fect event planned at their Greenwich Avenue brick and mortar, only a stone’s throw (maybe a stick’s throw would be more fitting) from Warwick Mall and NYLO.

Renowned photographer and best selling author (ten books and counting), Traer Scott, who also happens to be based right here in Rhode Island, will be on hand to take some paw-some photos of local pups by appointment only (more about this in a sec).

You may already be familiar with Ms. Scott as her books have been wildly popular (just saw a cute IG post spotlighting them courtesy of none other than Oscar winning actress, style icon and dog paw-rent Diane Keaton) and her work has appeared previously in highly regarded magazines such Vogue, O, National Georgraphic, Life, and People.

Another reason to get excited?

Proceeds from this special pop-up benefit Friends Of Homeless Animals, a foster-based, non-profit rescue that’s run entirely by volunteers. They save and rehome dogs from all over the country; and I just read that the founder has something like 35 years experience in the field.

If this sounds like something you and the pup in your life want to take part in, as of this minute there are a limited number of slots still available this coming Sunday.

They are asking that you please reserve yours in advance, though, because due to the current COVID crisis, they will NOT be able to take walk-ins.
