The People Behind This Fave Food Cart Are Opening A Providence Storefront

Here’s The Scoop

Used to be if you were hungry for a girnormous bubble waffle cone chock full of ice cream, fruit, and other toppings, you had to keep an eye on the Kow Kow Insta to see if their cart would be popping up at their usual spot on their regular days over on Waterman Street on Providence’s East Side.

If the forecast for those days turned out to be rainy and unpleasant, that would unfortunately result in a cancellation — thus, putting a damper on any ice cream dreams because nobody but nobody wants to stand on line in the pouring rain to place an order or even do the pick up thing.

For Sharing With The Ice Cream Lovers In Your Life

Well, Kow Kow has recently announced something may-jor!

They are opening their long awaited and brand-y NEW brick and mortar storefront (they’ve also completely re-branded, changing their logo and color scheme) over on Ives Street in Providence this coming Saturday, April 10th, so you won’t need to wonder any longer whether or not you’ll be able to get your hands on a cone or two.

Going forward now, you’ll be able to motor, or stroll over, on any given afternoon or evening that they’re open for biz and load up on waffles, ice cream and more.

I mean, what could be better, especially with the warmer days and nights coming up this season which naturally lend themselves to mid-afternoon and after supper ice cream cravings.

Also, Kow Kow will be donating 10% of their opening weekend sales to the Hate Is A Virus’ commUnity Action Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to derailing and defeating racism and hate.

*Starting this weekend, find Kow Kow at 120 Ives Street in Providence, Rhode Island.

As always, if you wind up taking a rhode trip over because you read about them here, please let them know you heard about them via PattyJ.com.
