The New Spot In PVD That Pretty Much Everyone's Going To Be Posting About This Fall

If you’ve ever walked, pedaled, or motored by Olga’s Cup & Saucer (or popped in for coffee and a nosh…over the last few decades, give or take, they have become known for their pastries and that pretty garden meets patio area) in the Jewelry District and wondered why no one’s ever done anything with that little, white building off to the side facing Richmond Street, you’re really gonna heart this news.

If you haven’t already heard, you should know that that space is being worked on as we speak (photo below) and is soon to be completely transformed into Tiny Bar PVD.

Sure, we’ve got our share of secret speakeasy situations around these parts. (With another one on the way over on the West Side apparently…but that’s another post for another day.)

Tiny bars like THIS? Not. So. Much.

Think super small, but quite stylish (The words mini and luxe also come to mind, just don’t confused this with the nail place.), dazzling in fact - in a gold accent and fresh coat-a-paint-and-more kinda way. You might be following a similar bar or restaurant situated in NYC or LA. At the moment, howevs, I personally can’t think of anywhere else like this in Providence.

I mean, once this place opens, it’s only going to be a matter of a short time before we start seeing IG bloggers from not only Rhode Island but also Boston (Keep this in mind…Odds are that if you hadn’t yet checked out the new Ellie’s on Weybossett, across from PPAC, you came down with a serious case of FOMO after peeping the posts from there from Boston-based IG Superstars Sveta and the Preppy Hispanic back in early September.) uploading from 377 Richmond.

With all this in mind then, you’ll want to start following along on Instagram, if only so that you can get specifics on an official opening date AND get there for drinks with your besties before everyone else you know.
