There's A New Outdoor Holiday Market And It's Kicking Off This Saturday In EG

There’s a brand new outdoor market in Rhode Island and it’s kicking off this Saturday morning at 10am (a pretty civilized start time for a weekend morning if you ask me) in East Greenwich.

I, of course, have been shouting from the rooftops — not literally but I have been working on my balance and my core — all year long about outdoor everything, especially dining, so I couldn’t be more psyched about the collection of local makers, eateries, creatives, and artists who will be setting up shop at 51 Liberty Street in EG.

It’s a fabulous way to support local, women-owned businesses and get out of the house this weekend (helloooooo, cabin fever!) for something light and fun-tastic.

And who couldn’t use more of that energy in their life at this moment? (True story, I just stress ate almost an entire box of Late July Saltines.)

See photos above for a preview of what to expect, including baked goods and coffee from Buns Bakery RI, delectable snack boxes from Graze EG, unique jewelry (made right here in RI) by Himatsingka Jewelry, and the lovely tea towels that Noon has become so well known for over these last few years.

That’s only a taste, however. Truth be told, the Hill + Harbour Market has a truly impressive roster of Rhody-based small businesses, including live music (applause, applause) from Bianca Casings.

So, grab your fave face mask and your go-to hand sanitizer (safety protocols for the pandemic, including social distancing, will most definitely be in place which makes me feel so, so good about going) and get ready to holiday shopping til you drop.

And I always like to pick up a few things for myself this time of year, with my internal monologue sounding something like THIS: “You know who would LOVE that? MEEEEEEE!”
