This Delightful Patio In My Fave Village Is Perf For Your Next Local Adventure

Thought I knew all the enchanting spots in Wickford Village.

Alas, I was wrong.

After connecting with Gooseneck Vineyards via Instagram, was I ever surprised to see that they were in fact located on Brown Street in the heart of The Wick.

Don’t know how I’d missed them? I mean as anyone who reads this blog regularly and maybe sees my Instagram posts can attest to, I am there, in that neck of the woods, all the time.

Gooseneck Vineyards is a family owned business that over the last ten years or so has been quietly making a name for itself by teaming up with winemakers all over the world (see my photo below) to create amazing wines at oh-so-affordable prices.

The average price point is somewhere in the neighborhood of $16 to 18, one exception being their Pinot Noir which retails for a still quite reasonable $24.

And there’s no shortage of vinos to choose from!

Check out their site and you’ll spy everything from a bubbly Prosecco to a bold Heritage Red.

We had a chance to sample their Pinot Grigio and Grenache Rose and I can tell you that both are afternoon or after dinner faves at our house. (One of the wine lovers in our COVID crew could not believe just how light and hence, summertime appropiate their P.G. was.)

Sure you can shop online, but let’s circle back to Wickford…because the tasting room and patio they have there is beyond charming!

Also, with the way I’ve been living this summer during the pandemic — sticking with outdoor wine-ing and dining (outside everything really) — their lovely space is one that I will return to again and again in the coming months.

To experience it for yourself, click over to GooseneckVineyards.com and motor over to 4 Brown Street in the 02852.
