The Heated Patio At This Adorable Eatery Is Perf For Your Next Pizza Friday

Sure, you could order a pizza for pickup or delivery, but why not go and sit outside on the small, charming, and HEATED patio at Pomodoro’s in Bristol

Located on a quiet-ish street in a town probably known best for hosting the oldest 4th of July parade in the USA and the 464 acres once owned and occupied by Samuel P. Colt (four term Attorney General of Rhode Island, founder of what would later become Fleet Bank, president of what was ultimately Uniroyal, and the nephew of one Samuel Colt) that is now Colt State Park, this low key neighborhood eatery is an enjoyable spot for tucking into some pizza pies and salads or pasta.

Their spin on Italian comfort food checks all the boxes: Our salads and pizza were fresh and tasty and I would happily go back again (in a heartbeat) for another meal. No foodie remorse here!

One call out is that they didn’t have any hot drinks on their menu the evening we were there. It is BYOB, though, so maybe in addition to that bottle of Pinot, Chardonnay, or Sauvignon Blanc, you might be able to get away with also bringing along a travel mug of java or your current tea of choice.

That being said, their outdoor space is adorable. And did I mention — plenty of heaters !!!

Since we were the first reservation of the night (they open for biz at 4pm sharp), I was able to snap the photo above before tables started filling up. For the record, that patio space was hopping later on.
