The Dining Bubbles At This Gansett Eatery Are Better Than Ever This Winter

Okay, igloos are everywhere once again this winter (oy!), but the ones at the Coast Guard House are right on the water, so close in fact that you can actually hear the waves crashing against the rocks.

What could be better?

I mean, isn’t that one of the biggest advantages of living in the good ole Ocean State?

And theirs are looking cozier and more stylish than ever this go round! (See photo above.)

For the record, our meal there was one of the very best experiences as far as dining domes in Lil Rhody go. (Elsewhere all you might see from your igloo is a parking lot or cars whirring by and that’s fine but nothing to write home about either, ya know?)

If you’re interested in booking a lunch or dinner there, I understand that this season the Coast Guard House has the bubble option up on their Open Table listing. (Last year you had to call them directly to book.)

In the evening they have twinkle lights, too, which in my humble opinion, make everything that much more enchanting.

There is a $25 minimum spend per person (that’s food and drink) as well as a rental fee, but well worth it if you want to get out with your crew in an entirely marvelous setting.

As always, if you go after reading this, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
