We Rediscovered This Local Fave For Pizza And More Last Night

Last Night At Fellini’s In “The Village” (As The People Who Live Or Work There Call It)

We kicked off Pizza Friday a day early and you know what? NOT sorry about it.

The outdoor event we had tickets for got rained out which was a bummer, but ultimately it resulted in my rediscovering an old fave, Fellini’s in Pawtuxet Village. (Of course we opted for a to-go pie because indoor dining is still not part of our rotation right now.)

Now, when it comes to food, more often than not you’ll find me posting about brand new eateries around Rhode Island, but today I’m over here shining a light on a pizza place that isn’t trendy or Insta Famous. (Does anyone say pizza parlour anymore?)

They do make one heck of a pie, though, especially if (like me) you LOVE a thin crust.

They are also one of only a few pizzerias around these parts that still sell by the slice. As a matter of fact, while we were waiting for our order, a few people bopped in to buy individual slices. There’s just something late 20th century (aka, back in the day) charming about that whole scenario that makes me smile.

Furthermore, pretty proud to say that I’ve introduced just about everyone in my inner circle to it.

I once took a friend there for a pie topped with fresh arugula and tomatoes and she was on her cell making plans to come back again before we even settled the check.

Oh, and before I forget, regulars have been known to rave — go on and on about — their eggplant appetizer, their iconic Thanksgiving Pizza Pie, the craft beer selection, and al fresco dining on their patio in the warm weather.

You’ll definitely find me on their patio as soon as we are done with all this cold, rain, and (as of this morning) snow flurries.

For the full Fellini’s menu and a whole heck of a lot more, head on over to their site.

As always, if you end up enjoying a Fellini’s pie after reading this, please let them know you heard about them via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
