We Had Lunch At This Enchanting Warwick Eatery That Used To Be A Farmhouse

I can remember going to 1094 Centerville Road back in the early aughts when it was Ferns & Flowers teahouse. (Full disclosure, it was via one of my sister-in-laws who would invite my mom to lunch there all the time.)

Now, let’s flash forward to The Tree House Tavern & Bistro, the charming eatery and outdoor space (from one of the original owners of Ferns, the actual farmhouse dates back to the 1800’s too btw) in that location for more than 10 years.

We were there last weekend and it’s such a fun-tastic and whimsical spot for lunch, dinner or drinks with your friend group.

First off, I LOVE the atmosphere.

It’s a veritable feast for the eyes, from the colorful umbrellas and animal figures in the main room to the extreme coziness of the additional areas throughout. Tbh, it’s the kind of special-ness that I’m always on the lookout for around Rhode Island.

As far as service, our wait person was upbeat and helpful, a real pleasure to interact with.

And the food was so delish.

Overall, the menu’s a bit heavy on the meat, but the great news is that they will modify dishes.

For ex, we had our eye on the sweet potato pizza, but it had prosciutto. Well, we asked and ended up with a pie without the ham that we devoured and deemed entirely yummy.

Ditto for the ginormous noodle bowl that they made vegetarian for me, the perfect dish for a chilly and rainy afternoon in Lil Rhody I might add.

For those looking for fizzy sips and spirits and the like, their drink menu is beyond impressive and I would go back in heartbeat for cocktails with my favorite people ty.

Also, let’s circle back to their out-of-doors space which is just as wonderful.

Cannot wait for peak spring and summer temps!

We had din din there last summer — and I swear after I posted my photos on INSTA, at least 4 or 5 of my online friends motored over within a week and started sharing to their IG’s.

Also, it’s probably a good idea to call in advance and make a reservation because whenever I’ve been, it’s hopping there.
