We're Falling For This Sweet Little Bakery In Warwick, Rhode Island

Happy Autumn Eve!

The hubs and I were in Warwick the other day and found this terrific bakery tucked away in a strip mall in the Governor Francis neighborhood (named for the grandson of Brown University founder John Brown, John Brown Francis who was Rhode Island’s governor from 1833 to 1838).

Le Favorite Bakery is a delightful under-the-radar spot for kicking off Fall 2022. (I mean, who says you have to do all your fall fotos in Providence or on a farm in South County? PS And BTW, they’ve also been in biz for over 18 years.)

For starters, Le Fave is all gussied up for the NEW season. (Heyyy, that matters these days when so many of us are trying to get that perfect pic or video clip.)

Everything looked delicious on Sunday; we had a really tough time deciding what to bring to a friend’s cookout later that day.

We finally opted for some football themed cupcakes (hello, mini Patriots helmets), a few of the chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and a white swirl across the top (their version of the Hostess ones you may have snacked on back in the 70’s and 80’s), and a cinnamon pound.

In addition to their cakes (including some absolutely gorgeous CUSTOM ones I spotted when researching them online), regulars go gaga over their dinner rolls, cookies, and pastries.
