The Cutest Waterfront Cafe In Newport For Hot Chocolate, Coffee And Snacks

Newport was hopping!

We toured The Breakers and we just couldn’t leave Newport proper without popping over to Springline Coffee on Bannister’s Wharf. (Psst…The name is a nod to the line that helps keep a boat from moving front to back whilst it’s docked.)

First off, the drinks are as yummy as ever.

Second, they have gone and winterized the seating area overlooking the water which is FANTASTIC news. (See photo above.)

I mean, hellooooo four (4) SEAson enjoyment!

They added temporary “walls” and two (count ‘em 2) portable heat lamps which are secured overhead.

It’s really quite comfy!

In addition to their menu of hot and cold (who drinks cold cawfee in the winter in RI, oh deeeee!) beverages, they also have baked goods (yesterday there were donuts and croissants for those wondering), chocolate bars, and a nice assortment of snack and protein bars.

It’s a sweet little spot for a java break in NPT this winter.

The group next to us was taking beaucoup photos and who could blame them?

It’s pretty charming and photo or video worthy there year round but right now the holiday decor takes it to a whole other level.

And you can bring a bag or three of their Springline coffee home with you once you’re ready to depart.

Find Springline Coffee at 33 Bannister’s in Newport, Rhode Island.
