Tea lovers, this one’s for YOU!

I know I write a lot about coffeehouses around Rhode Island, so it’s particularly thrilling for me to bring you tea drinkers news about a brand-y NEW tea shop in Providence.

Black Leaf Tea Cafe on Valley Street (not far from Troop and Riff Raf bookstore) just opened a few weeks ago and I have been wanting to get there ever since I saw owner and proprietor Amber Jackson post about it. (A friend who works nearby was interested in going, too, but I’m impatient, lol.)

Well, yesterday’s rainy and chilly weather had me changing plans and motoring over to Valley Street with the hubs, and I am so glad we did.

The space itself has beaucoup seating and natural light (I mean, if you want to take any photo photos or videos when you go), and the menu of different teas is extensive and intriguing.

Whether you want something caffeinated or not, a fruitier blend or perhaps something less sweet, Ms. Jackson has you covered.

You can also pick up some of the Black Leaf Tea to take home with you. I think that everything is very gift-able, too.

And she also carries a selection of sweets from Whisk Me Away bakers and bake shop (another local gem that I highly recommend checking out).

They are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 9am to 3pm, so plan accordingly.

Bring the tea person in your orbit, and they won’t beLEAF how amazing the sips and ambiance are.

Find Black Leaf Tea Cafe at 52A Valley Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
