The Pizza From This Rhode Island Food Truck Is So Delicious

Love At 1st Slice

Can I just tell you that the pies from Anna’s Vesuviano (a pizza truck that appeared on the local food scene about a year or two ago) are outstanding?

These are no run-of-the-mill, ordinary pizza pies. Must be because Chef Anthony was in Naples, Italy for something like two years studying cheese and pizza making.

Their Tomato Paradise, made with summer tomatoes, herbs, and fior di latte (a tippity top shelf cow’s milk cheese), was seriously one of the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever eaten in my whole entire lifetime.

The taste and texture of those super fresh tomatoes, cheese, and sauce — and mad props to the Chef who has been spotted cooking up pies on the back of that red truck on many a 90+ degree (hiiiii, heat wave) day in Lil Rhody.

And I swear I detected a hint of CITRUS in the sauce?

Anna’s pops up at different locations (I’ve also seen them posting from South Water, in the vicinity of the Providence Pedestrian Bridge as well as at private events and parties) and I am urging you to connect with them sometime soon.

Their pies will reaffirm your belief in the joys of eating a truly phenomenal PIZZA.

Find out where they’ll be next by way of their IG @AnnasVesuviano.
