The Coventry, Rhode Island Bakery That All Your Friends Are Sweet On

Hey, let’s shine a light on a fab BAKERY in Coventry, Rhode Island.

Sure, I’ve written about Rick & Dee’s, Lake Taco, Spell Hall (the Nathanael Greene Homestead), and HASH NY System, but feel like I need to talk more about more terrific spots in that town.

That being said, how about Borrelli’s Pastry Shop on Tiogue?

This place is chef’s kiss when it comes to sweet treats (their cannolis, carrot cake, and tiramisùs are the stuff that dreams are made of), snacks (I for one live for a warm and flavorful calzone), and special occasion (their custom cakes are beautiful, full stop) desserts.

This is a bake shop with an old school dedication to crafting the best tasting treats and bites using tippity top quality ingredients, not to mention their high presentation standards. (There, I said it!)

Did someone say showstopping trays of everything from pizza and calzones to holiday biscuits?

In addition, the staff is consistently helpful and patient. I tend to get quite indecisive when faced with pastry cases full of goodies, lol.

Regulars adore their cheesecake (incliuding blueberry and a triple choc mousse versions), cream pies (chocolate and BROWNIE choc come to mind), spinach pies, and more.

Also, their pizza strips have a VERY passionate fan base. (Come on, before anyone @’s me about how they don’t care for this type of pizza, let me just say that party pizza is part of the fabric of LIFE IN RHODE ISLAND.)

Find Borrelli’s Pastry Shop at 765 Tiogue Avenue in Coventry, Rhode Island.
