Seal And Harbor Tours Are Coming To My Fave Rhode Island Village

I’ve written about the hop-on-hop-off ferry that departs from Jamestown, and now I hear that same company is launching a seal and harbor tour in one of my fave villages in Rhode Island — Wickford.

Starting this coming Sunday, you can take a scenic cruise around The Wick and hopefully (fingers crossed) spot some of these adorable doggies of the ocean (aka, “sea doggos,” “dogs of the sea” and “water puppies”).

The Coastal Queen (Cruise RI’s largest boat which features beaucoup seats along with a teakwood bar and cafe style seating on the main desk) leaves from Visitor’s Dock at 55 Brown Street, and runs about 90 minutes.

Also, parents will want to book seats for the seal tours that Cruise RI has scheduled for SCHOOL VACATION WEEK (Feb 21, 22, 23, 24 & 25). It’s something fun-tastic out in the FRESH AIR that kids and grown-ups alike will both enjoy!

I mean, never under-estimate the CUTE seal factor.

So, bundle up (hats, scarves, puffers, the whole kit and caboodle) and motor on over to this darling and historic enclave in North Kingstown.

And immediately following?

We love exploring the shops (Beauty & The Bath, The Novel Eye, JW Graham & YES! Gallery, Eclectic Bungalow, Spring Pottery, Green Ink, & so many more) AND grabbing lunch (Shayna’s) or dinner (Tate’s, Wickford On The Water, The Place).
