A Delightful Breakfast And Lunch Spot On Wickenden Street In Providence

Fancy some breakfast In Providence?

I went back to Brickway On Wickenden the other day (it’s been a long while) with a friend — and it did not disappoin, tasty food, wonderful service, and a whimsical and cheery aesthetic that you’re gonna enjoy.

Whether you want a late breakfast or a nice, casual lunch, this diner-style eatery on (no surprise bc of the name) Wickenden Street on PVD’s East Side is a terrific choice for relaxed eats with a colorful and lively backdrop.

Patty J Tip: You might do better on a weekday because the hubs and I tried to go a few weekends ago, and it was way too busy. Then I went back with my friend KG on a mid-week-day and we were able to get seated. Whewwww.

So many options on the menu, from traditional to 21st century twists on classics. Regulars go gaga over their Benedicts, omelets, and pancakes with fruit.

Our server was terrific, too, made sure our coffee cups were never empty. Their coffee was pretty darn good, too. I hear it’s ground on the premises.

Also gotta LOVE the funky decor, from the art work on the way in to the bright palette inside (murals galore) and those RETRO dinette tables.
