The Charming Bakery And Cafe In Richmond, Rhode Island For Coffee And Sweets

Patty J At Celebrated

Richmond, Rhode Island doesn’t get nearly enough attention or accolades.

There I said it.

In the past I’ve written about Alaina’s Guac n’ Roll (formerly Alaina’s Coffee + Kitchen), Pasquale Farms, and Lickety Splits Ice Cream, and today we’re going to talk about a new-ish spot in the area where you can plant yourself year round.

PS — If anyone wants to invite me to the Hobbit House at The Preserve…😉

Celebrated, the vegan and allergy friendly bakery, relocated from Warwick to Richmond last year, and hooray, I finally made it there.

Situated on Stilson Road, right near Stop & Shop, this bake shop with cafe seating is absolutely ADORABLE.

It’s bright, airy, and stylish — and I highly recommend sticking around to enjoy your coffee or tea and cupcake, cookie, muffin, croissant, or macaron.

Now, everything is indeed plant based (made without any dairy products or eggs) but even the most devoted carnivore in your circle will appreciate these delectable treats.

I hear they also offer a cookie-stuffed croissant every now and then which I can’t wait to get my hands on.

In other words, you don’t have to be a vegan or plant based eater to frequent Celebrated.

Yesss, it’s THAT GOOD.

I ordered a London Fog with almond milk (they have oat, almond, coconut or soy milks) and a chocolate chip muffin.

I also picked up a couple of to-go meals from the Narragansett based SoCo Vedge (also plant based and also yummy…I particularly enjoyed the Taco Bowl) which Celebrated carries on the reg.

Looking for gluten free?

Celebrated also offers gf pastries and treats. (We get that question a lot.)

Also, custom cakes that will wow you.

Do NOT sleep on this utterly charming spot.
