It's Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate Season At This Providence Cafe
If your agenda for Holiday 2025 is to drink hot chocolate and watch holiday movies (as of today we’ve watched Elf and The Holiday), then this cute Providence cafe on Dean Street is a must try this season.
We’ve sipped the s’mores hot chocolate at Cafecito PVD more than once, and it did indeed live up to the hype!
Forget those gritty or watered down (tasteless) hot chocolates you’ve sampled around town in the past.
The one at Cafecito deserves a spot on your festive eats list this year.
They start with made-in-house marshmallow fluff around the rim of the cup which they toast with a mini torch.
A veritable feast for the eyes and the taste buds.
They also add the fluff to one of their signature biscuits along with a choc square; that’s the scrumptious garnish added to the top once the homemade hot choc has been poured.
It’s a sweet way to ramp up the Christmassy energy in your world in the coming weeks. (Pssst….Their baked goods are exceptional, too.)
Find Cafecito PVD at 102 Dean Street in Providence, Rhode Island. They are open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7am to 2pm, Fridays 7am to 2pm and 5 to 10pm, Saturdays 7am to 10pm, and Sundays 7am to 9pm.
