A Magical Rhode Island Tea Room In This Marvelous Town

Pinkies Up For This Enchanting Teahouse

Fairy Tea Room opened their doors earlier this year on Market Street in Warren, and of course we tried it.

I made our reservation a week in advance and they were booked solid when the big day finally arrived. They do take walk-ins but because of how busy they were the day we were there, my tip is to make a reservation.

Not sure what was in this space previously but the owners of this NEW tea room have obviously poured their heart into making this an enchantingly stylish space, complete with colorful murals (including the one with the bear, deer and fox having tea in the photo below…that one’s in the bathroom, lol), plush furniture, unique china (saucers and pots), and twinkle lights.

Guests can choose from either the afternoon tea (a traditional 3 tier tray of sweets and savory as well a bottomless pot of tea) or the luncheonette menu (includes soup, salad, and avo toast). Also, you should know that just about everything is made in house from scratch.

If you go with the tea — as we did — you get to pick 3 different kinds of finger sandwiches from a list of 7. We went with the cucumber with fresh herbs, deviled egg salad and (my fave) smoked salmon on pumpernickel. We each ended up with our own tray of finger sandwiches, scones, and mini pastries (macarons, tarts and such).

All in all, a marvelous way to spend a few hours with either your significant other or a good pal. (My husband was one of two men in the place on Sunday afternoon.)

They are open Thursday thru Sunday at 69 Market Street in Warren, Rhode Island.
