A Charming Cafe In Rhode Island For Fall Coffee And Sweets
Patty J At Celebrated
Richmond, Rhode Island doesn’t get nearly enough attention or accolades. There I said it.
In the past I’ve written about Alaina’s Guac n’ Roll (formerly Alaina’s Coffee + Kitchen), Pasquale Farms (so sad they closed), and Lickety Splits Ice Cream, and today we’re going to talk about a darling spot in the area where you can plant yourself year round.
Celebrated, the vegan and allergy friendly bakery, relocated from Warwick to Richmond back in 2023. Situated on Stilson Road, right near Stop & Shop, this bake shop with cafe seating is a bright light in this quaint little town.
It’s airy and with a modern twist — and I highly recommend sticking around to enjoy your coffee or tea and cupcake, cookie, muffin, croissant, or macaron. Some new-for-Fall items include Pumpkin Cookie Butter Latte, Maple Sea Salt Shaken Espresso, Cranberry Orange Mocha, Apple Cider (hot or cold), and Maple Cinnamon Steamer. (I’m sure they’ll have a selection of autumnal macarons as well. They’ve become well known for their decadent macarons!)
Now, everything is indeed plant based (made without any dairy products or eggs) but even the most devoted carnivore in your circle will appreciate these delectable treats.
In other words, you don’t have to be a vegan or plant based eater to frequent Celebrated.
Yesss, it’s THAT GOOD.
I ordered a London Fog with almond milk (they have oat, almond, coconut or soy milks) and a cider donut.
Looking for gluten free?
Celebrated also offers gf pastries and treats. (We get that question a lot.)
One more thing…their custom cakes will wow you.
Do NOT sleep on this utterly delicious spot.
