This Breakfast Place Combines Delish Eats & Insta Worthy Decor, So Text Your Crew

If this place was in Providence, you would probably have to wait in line for at least 30 to 40 minutes (or more) to even get a table.

It’s actually located in Harrisville, Rhode Island, but soooo worth the drive over, especially if you’re in a bit of a brekkie or brunch rut as we segue into September.

Or you’re just tired of waiting on line in PVD. (I know I am…I was once scolded by a host for attempting to sit down at a “community table” on a Saturday. Wow, just wow.)

You’ll find the aptly named Excellent Breakfast at 218 Harrisville Main Street, right behind Niko’s Pizza (You’re GPS won’t tell ya that!).

The space itself is both welcoming and Insta worthy.

When we were there, we were greeted with a touch of greenery, a sign board, white walls, glossy black tiles, and wooden booths.

How NICE does all that sound?

I mean, I can totally see some top shelf food bloggers on Insta posting from here in the not-too-distant future. (Remember - you heard about it here first!)

So the decor rivals anything else I’ve seen in and around the capital city and it also gets high praise for the social media-related possibilities, but (you’re probably thinking 🤔) what about the FOOD?

Newsflash, it’s pretty darn greattt!

I had the eggs with polenta and spinach, an English muffin, and a coffee and the hubs had eggs with spinach, potatoes, an English muffin, and tea. (My husband can’t drink coffee anymore and he apparently wants me to give up drinking java as well now too…two words - not happening)

Everything was fresh, nicely presented, and not at all greasy. Highly recommending.

The catch? Right now, they’re only open Wednesday thru Sunday 6:30 am to 2pm, so adjust your plans accordingly.

Also, I’m not really sure whether they are open over the holiday weekend (Labor Day) or not, so you’ll want to give them a ring at 401-710-7189 before cruising over.
