This unique food cart has moved their operations indoors (aka, “a pop-up Croissanterie”) and I consider myself extremely lucky to have gotten an order in for this coming Saturday.

Yep, today I’m circling back to Butterbang Croissants which I first blogged about last fall (in November) and has since expanded their menu to include: a blueberry version filled with organic blueberry jam and sweet cream, a tantilizing Yum Roll (a cinnamon roll with vanilla glaze and salted caramel that’s on my order for this Sat btw), and a bunch of different Squares like Apple Crisp, Tomato Jam & Goat Cheese, and nut free Pesto & Goat Cheese. (For the record, as someone who’s married to a man with a severe tree nut allergy, I appreciate very much that their pesto is NOT made with nuts.)

Sure you can always grab some scrumptious pastries at Pastiche, Ellie’e and Seven Stars (and I do all the time), but if you’re looking for a fun-tastic and NEW food adventure in the capital city this season, might I humbly suggest checking out the cheekily named Butterbang.

If you sign up for their e-blast, you’ll receive a convenient reminder to place your order before their weekly cut-off which is every Thursday at 1pm.

When I went online last night, some items were already sold out, so I do strongly recommend getting on their site as early as possible and not indulging in procrastination. (Also, walk-up orders are off the table right now, in case you were wondering.)

Once your order is in, you’ll want to head over to their PVD storefront on the designated morning, mask up and pick up your incredible eats and treats.

Another sweet detail you might be interested to know is that they have just rolled out (circa 4-5 days ago) a special Butterrbang Instagram Filter that lets you look as though you’re biting into one of their scrumptious croissants. I mean, it’s the little things right now like a thoughtfully prepared French pastry or an cute IG filter that can make all the difference these days.

*Butterbang is located at 11 Aleppo Street in Providence. (They have also done a number of philanthropic thing over the last year such as donating their baked goods to local soup kitchens and offering up a way for their customers to give croissants to health care workers in RI to thank them.)
