We're Rolling With The OMies At This Marvelous Yoga Studio In Boca Raton

No days off…after seeing JLO’s performance at the Super Bowl a few weeks ago.

This is a full week of just exploring workouts in the area.

We started with BoHa (stands for body in harmony) Yoga in Boca, which has been open for biz about a year or so.

This studio welcomes you immediately, before you even step inside the door, with a message in the front window that asks to think about what you’re grateful for (which does help with setting your intention for practice).

You’re one yoga class away from a good mood.

Then, you walk in and they have the hottest, most popular vitamins that all the celebs are posting about on Instagram. We also noticed that the lockers - and this is something we haven’t seen before - all have different upliting messages written on them.

Alignment: Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

For real, their yoga classes have been some of the most challenging, and inspiring, that we’ve taken. And, the teacher yesterday was in such phenomenal shape (at 46 with 4 kids!), it really made us want to become yoginis.

Another detail about today’s class that impressed us was how the instructor started off with an extended series of moves meant to help stretch our bodies (which she stressed the importance of) and prep us for more of the athletic, vinyasa-based sequences to come.

The instructors there not only model the poses, but they also come around and give you adjustments that suit your body, your needs. As anyone who’s ever taken a yoga class can attest to, giving personalized modifications helps keep you, the class-taker, from moving your body in way that might cause pain in the moment or injury later on.

Inhale the future, exhale the past.

Next time you’re in the area and you need some yoga, we highly recommend trying out BoHa. You can book classes straight from your phone too, so no jumping thru hoops.

Also, be sure to keep an eye on PattyJ.com’s Instagram to find out what’s on deck for later this week. We have more fun, new workouts to share.
