You Can Still Have Pizza Fridays With DIY Pie Kits From These PVD Makers

Pizza Fridays.

They are still on at our house.

Only now there’s no crowd.

Instead of 5, 10, or 12 (sometimes more) people at the dinner table, these days it’s down to a party of three.

Also, my sister’s been making our pies, using the tomatoes, shredded cheese, and frozen pizza dough that we were lucky enough to secure via online shopping and delivery in March and early April.

If you’ve seen any of my recent posts, though, you know that over the past two weeks, we have had some serious challenges getting any orders filled. (The silver lining of this is that more people are obviously staying in and self isolating, but not being able to get fresh food is frightening on many levels.)

So, if like us, you’re now scrambling to get your (gloved) hands on the most basic pantry staples, forget about a post quarantine life luxury like dough, you’ll be happy to hear that the people at Federal Hill Pizza now have pizza kits available for pick-up.

I mean, there are diy art and drink kits, so why not PIZZA?

Each kit has everything you need to craft your own 12” pie (my kind of DIY!!!) at home: dough, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and basil.

They are also donating a portion of the sales from these to a non-profit called Chefs Feeding Kids.

And I’ll be teaming up with them to give away a bunch of their kits over on the @PattyJDotCom Insta soon too, so please stay tuned.

That’s all for now.

Stay well,

Patty J
