The Sea Salt Spray From This Local RI Maker Is Like A Beach Day In A Bottle

Life Takes Us Down Many Paths, But The Very Best Ones Lead To A Rhode Island Beach

Looking ahead to the next few days and the forecast is, well, pretty chilly.

And there’s apparently a 100% chance of showers on Saturday.

Certainly not beach weather, and with sand and surf days on pause for now, thought I’d share something neat that I stumbled across online which could be one of the best gifts to send friends and fam near and far to help them get through this especially difficult winter.

I’m talking about the Sea Salt Home Spray (photo below) that is in fact crafted right here in the Ocean State (yes, it is locally made) by Kala Style Soap.

It’s also cruelty free, vegan, and made with ingredients like organic witch hazel, essential oils and alcohol. And I continue to be obsesed with the % of alcohol that products contain — with 68% or more being the magic number to squash the 🦠on surfaces — how ‘bout you? (Speaking of which, KSS has hand sanitizers too, by the by.)

Why not send some to the beach lovers in your life as a nice little pick me up this month? A sweet and salty way of saying, “I’m thinking of you.”

I mean, it really does bring to mind memories of warmer and more carefree days, the taste of a cold Del’s, the coconut-y smell of suntan oil or lotion, the scratchy feel of rough beach towels, and the crashing sound of waves hitting the shoreline. (Maybe even the anticipation and joy of digging into a basket of freshly fried clam cakes?)

Or get a bottle or two for yourself because, as the kids are saying, self-care is NOT selfish.
