The Burrito And Bowl Restaurant In Westerly For Delish Eats And Fab Fotos

Sunday, January 30th at 240 Post Road in Westerly, Rhode Island

The Bigger The Better With Burritos

Westerly has some pretty terrific restaurants (Ella’s, Two LIttle Fish & Bridge come to mind), but I can’t think of one single place to get a decent burrito or bowl.

Until now.

Yesterday we motored over (main roads were clear and side ones were a mixed bag) to a new-ish spot situated at 240 Post Road where you can customize your own burrito or bowl.

And there are a ton of options as far as beans, proteins (pleasantly surprised to find they offer a VEGAN chorizo), sauces, and other colorful, fresh add-ons.

Also, a marvelous selection of beverages from classic soda like ginger ale or Coca Cola to sips like an IPA’s from Captain’s Daughter and even their own housemade (bottled) Margaritas.

The portions are ginormous (leaving a restaurant still hungry is a bummer and it does indeed happen now and again).

Another thing that sets them apart?

Whether you’re dining in or taking your order to-go, the interior is tailor made for IG Stories, Reels and whatnot.

They have a selfie wall when you first walk in (see photo above) as well as some bold art work in several other locations inside.

The light near the front windows, if you time it correctly, can eliminate the need for any editing also, which we discovered yesterday around 4 o’clock pm.

Say what you will (even I put away my phone sometimes) but in this day and age, it’s a huge plus when an eatery can combine delicious food with a visually appealing and photogenic atmosphere. (Sidebar, menus wrapped in a think layer of SHINY plastic? One of my many pet peeves.)

For more info, including hours of operation and full menu, go to their site and their IG.
