We Adore This Cozy Cafe In Bristol For Brunch, Lunch, And Coffee

Flashback To August 2015 At The Beehive Cafe (All Photos Above Are By Ashley Caldarone.)

I was first introduced to The Beehive Cafe in Bristol around 7 years ago by an intern who was helping out behind the scenes during that very 1st summer of this blog and have been a regular ever since.

The hubs and I have waited on line there many, MANY times because we adore the food and drink there so much.

We’re also serious fans of their upper (MICRO) deck, which on a sunny day has swell views of the harbor.

My go-to order is their butternut squash cornbread with some eggs and toast on the side: It’s hearty, thoughfully prepared, and will have you hooked.

Woah! ❤️

I know I’m going back again real soon for more because it checks all the boxes: Helloooo tasty, generous portions, and made with tippity top quality ingredients!

Other things I highly recommend? Their veggie pot pie, hot cakes (my husband lives for any of their breakfast dishes and the hot chocolate), and sweets. That case (see my photo below) loaded with fresh baked cookies, bars, muffins and the like is too tempting.

My friend Pam, the amazing nurse and aesthetician behind the award winning (and made in Rhode Island) Octovie Skin Brush, loves to go to the Beehive for a nice brunch after riding on the nearby East Bay Bike Path.

It also happens to be a favorite of more than a few Trinity Rep actors I’ve spoken with over these last few years, as well as a number of peeps I worked with at Nordstrom Providence back in the day.

So, motor over to Franklin Avenue (right near Independence Park and Bristol Harbor) and get your hands on some of the yummiest casual eats in that part of the state.

Find them at 10 Franklin Street in Bristol, Rhode Island.

For updates, you’ll want to follow The Beehive on Insta.
