This Show Is Happening In PVD, So Your Thursday Night Plans Are Made

Frequent Patty J men's style contributor, David Santos of Dress Like a Man blog, is also the singer and songwriter with the acclaimed Boston bandEddie Japan. Santos brings the elegant seven-piece to Alchemy (71 Richmond Street, Providence) this Thursday night as part of Boston music blogger Ryan Spaulding's The Outlaw Roadshow. Eddie Japan is known for a grand cinematic sound and features the lead vocals of Santos and fellow fashionista, Emily Drohan. The band will play a set heavy on songs from their most recent full-length, last summer's Golden Age, produced by Greg Hawkes of The Cars. The night is something of a homecoming for Santos, who began his musical career in Providence as a teenager in the late '80s during one of the city's musical heydays.
