I Was Stressed Yesterday (Oh DEE) But Now I’m Back To Pumpkin Obsessed…

I was farm hopping in Portsmouth the other day and hit the jackpot with Quonset View over on Middle Road.

This family-run costal farmstead that dates all the way back to 1915 and overlooks the Aquidneck Island shoreline is a real under-the-radar find.

In other words, it hasn’t been overrun with lookie loos in search of picturesque spots for pumpkin-picking-photos, videos and the like.

Not yet, anyway.

Before that happens, you’ll want to get there to do the pyo (pick your own) thing which includes pulling a wagon along the perimeter of the patch.

If that doesn’t float your boat rn, they also have a terrific stand set up with every size and color pumpkin you can possibly imagine: There are the ex-large white ones (also known as Polar Bears), the bright orange Cinderellas (see third photo below), and soooooo many more.

They also have bales of hay, sunflowers and various gourds that you could use to gussy up your front porch or yard this season.

Another important tip?

They are cash only, so be sure you have some green when it comes time to weigh your gems and settle up at the little booth off to the side.

And come holiday time, they’ll have Christmas trees.

Find Quonset View Farm at 895 Middle Road in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

As always, if you motor over after reading this, please let them know you found out about them via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
