Sometimes I go off on farm and flower tangents here on the blog.

And that’s when folks start clamoring for food and restaurant posts.

Well, great news because today I’m talking about the rebirth of a pretty and popular outdoor space — with plenty of FLOWERS — that people used to flock to in droves (srly, getting a table was NOT easy) for coffee or tea and pastries, lunch dates with friends or business associates, or just a mini escape and java jolt on a particularly stressful day.

Yes, Seven Stars has indeed moved into the Point Street location formerly occupied by Olga’s Cup & Saucer, the trailblazer of a cafe that was the very first eatery of it’s kind in the Jewelry District in Providence.

I’m sharing this with everyone, but am dedicating especially to those whose daily routines were upended by that closing. (I feel like there was an outpouring of intense online sadness when it was announced originally in the winter of 2019.)

Your garden of choice is baaack (shoutout to the property’s current owners who also run the Tiny Bar next door because they apparently spent beaucoup bucks renovating the patio which prior to was notoriously uneven and had to be navigated with extreme care) and this time around, you can enjoy an iced coffee with oat milk, an amazing London Fog tea latte, or one of their absolutely incredible (life changing even) ginger scones there.

Also adore their breads (cheddar, olive, sourdough, raisin and beyond), cookies, mugs, and granola.

Find this latest outpost of Seven Stars Bakery at 103 Point Street in PVD.

As always if you make a coffee run there after reading this, let them know you found out about them here via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
