Next time you’re out for a midday or Sunday drive with your pup, you may just want to make a pit stop at BOL (stands for Bowls Of Love) juice bar and cafe on Main Street in Wakefield.

Established in November 2019, BOL is a sunny and rustic chic space, featuring lotsa greenery and a plant-based menu built on smoothie bowls. They’ve since added rice based and other warm bowls as well as a “super food” spin on traditional waffles. You can also grab drinks made with things like fresh fruit or liquid chlorophyll, matcha, chai, toasts, and a variety of flavorful shakes.

Beyond those offerings, they also have handmade and vegan dog treats — and a v. special bowl just for your pooch! Their signature Dog BOL is a bark-worthy blend of banana, peanut butter and water and sells for around $4.

Factor in their pet-friendly front patio and you have a lively morning or afternoon outing in South County.

As if that wasn’t enough, a stone’s throw from BOL is a beautiful biking and walking trail that would be perfect for getting in some steps with your 4 legged best pal.

BOL cafe is located at 318 Main Street in Wakefield, RI. (Their 2nd location is in Wellfleet, Massachusetts and I believe it is seasonal only.)

As always, if you do breakfast or lunch at BOL after reading this, do let them know you found out about them here via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
