Still in need of a holiday gift for someone special yet cannot find THAT perfect item?

The gift of experience is a great idea.

Goat hikes, baby goat cuddles, a petting zoo, goat yoga, day to day on a beautiful farm filled with all the cute farm animals to feed, a farm stand, goat milk soaps… oh my!!

My experiences at the 142 year old Simmons Farm in Middletown, Rhode Island brought out all the childhood joy in me.

First time was a goat hike with my goat James Brown.

Second time was cuddling baby goats, some only a few days old; their mamas were right there watching approvingly.

Pro Tip: Bring your hiking boots or wear a sturdy pair of shoes or sneakers that you won’t mind getting a little dirt on.

Brian and Karla Simmons (she’s also known as “the Goat Whisperer”) run the centuries old farm.

Why you’ve GOAT-A-Go? It’s year round FAMILY fun!

I will most definitely be visiting multiple times in 2023 and am so looking forward to it.

See their site for more details about happenings at Simmons Farm. (Gift cards are available. You can also book a birthday party or other celebration there.)
