There's A New Restaurant On Main Street In East Greenwich And It's Darling

There’s a brand new restaurant on Main Street in EG and I was there yesterday for a last minute, late lunch.

Previously the home of PB Bistro & Pub (blogged about them back in August 2021), the space is now Downtown Tilly Modern Deli & Bar and the interior is so snazzy.

In other words, make sure you’re phone is all charged because you’ll at least want to take a few snaps of the bar where there’s a neon Tilly’s light. Like Evie’s in Westerly, it has lotsa STYLE.

This cozy pub-esque spot offers breakfast sandwiches (brekkie all day, tell your friends), toasts, salads (I got a Greek salad and it was excellent), and I LOVE their Deli After Dark menu featuring fancier fare (everything looks and sounds incredible for a date night with your significant other or someone you are woo-ing).

If you’re on your own or lol, don’t feel like chatting with your companion, there are beaucoup big screen tv’s over the bar for catching up on sports, et cetera.

Also the menu has so many nods to EG and beyond with sandwich names like the Goddard Steak Park or the Kent County Caprese.

And food-wise they source locally whenever possible. (I don’t eat meat but they do work with a local, family farm.)

Regulars go gaga over their home and French fries, their vegan breakfast sammie (The Vegan Venture), their avo toast, Middle Road Melt, the martinis, and more.

Find Downtown Tilly at 241 Main Street in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
