This RI Native's Soaps Are Perf For Your Next Self Care And Chill Day Or Night

I started Bubble Bee Soapery in 2017…I had been diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) years ago and one of the issues with that is terrible skin. I suffered with dryness, acne and sensitivity, trying every over the counter item to help. With more acne came products to combat it and more make up to cover it. The worse my PCOS got, the worse my skin became and the more products I piled on to trying to fix it. I felt attacked from within and out.

After researching I came upon an article on a PCOS help website about homemade skin care and the benefits of it. So, fed up with my own face, I decided to give it a try. Within a few weeks I felt so much better. The dryness and sensitivity were better. So I started making more and giving them out to family and friends. Before I knew it, the demand was more than I could handle making on my own on a Saturday morning, so I started the website and (a few months later) opened the store on Federal Hill.

All of our products are organic, natural and hand made. We also have a large vegan line. And we donate to local beekeepers because no bees means no food. (Check out our Bee Kind Soap!) We are passionate about a clean lifestyle and the impact that we have on the world.

For sure our best selling item is the Oatmeal Milk And Honey Soap as well as our lip scrub selection. Everyone should have a good bar of soap, especially for your face and neck. Lip scrub is another great item to have to help keep lips smooth and soft.

Bubble Bee has also introduced hand sanitizers including this Lavender one which has a welcome 70% alcohol.

On Rhode Island and relocating to Keene, NH: I do miss RI as a whole. The food on Federal Hill is unlike anywhere else. PVD has a certain vibe (high energy) that cannot be replaced. Keene is lovely (mountain views, a relaxed atmosphere, a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, climbing), but it’s a more quiet place. Everyone is calm, where as RI is so go, go, go.
