There's A New Restaurant Opening In Jamestown And It Sounds Wonderful

Yesterday Afternoon On Narragansett Avenue

I’ve strolled by 13 Narragansett Avenue a bunch of times over these last two years, wondering what exactly was going on.

How ‘bout YOU?

Circa last winter, the space where Simpatico used to be (been many times for lunch and my family even hosted Thanksgiving dinner there one year) was definitely quiet.

Think I saw a tumbleweed blow by at one point?

Then fairly recently, after I’d motored over to JT on a particularly sunny spring day, I spotted a lotta folks working on that property, inside and out.

The sounds of hammering and whirring (from a variety of heavy duty construction type equipment, I’m guessing) filled the air.

Well, yours truly was back again yesterday and lo and behold, it turns out that there’s a brand NEW restaurant opening on the avenue tomorrow.

And you better believe it’s gonna be packed for the upcoming July 4th weekend.

My prediction? It’s going to be the hot reservation this summer.

Wish I had a resi — because from what I saw on Tuesday (around 3pm) irl and online via their Insta, BEECH looks ahhhhhh-mazing !!!

First off, their patio was giving off major enchanting vibes and energy on Tues., with flowers in bloom, white tablecloths, twinkle lights, and servers moving around in a lively fashion.

My best guess-timation is that they were getting ready for a pre-opening dinner for family and friends. (Gosh, if I had been on THAT LIST, this post would have turned out very different, lololol.)

Cut to this morning, when I did a little online detective work (winks to anyone who grew up in the 1970’s and was hooked on shows like Charlie’s Angels) and spotted the images above, showing the renovations to the outdoor bar and the interior (how fantastic does it all look, I mean OMG and who doesn’t appreciate a fab makeover) as well as some of their food (woah and yum).

For the latest from BEECH, you’ll want to give their INSTA a follow.

As always, if you score a reservation after reading THIS, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
