Here's The Scoop About The New Ice Cream Shop In East Greenwich

The site where the Beacon Diner used to be has been completely transformed.

Yessire Bob!

I stopped by the NEW Clementine’s HOMEMADE Ice Cream on South County Trail yesterday afternoon and wowie wow, does it look swell.

The Clem team has gone all out, redoing everything from tippity top to bottom and turning the former diner into a colorful (the exterior has been painted their signature shade of a deep-ish green blue which matches their cups and the whimsical i.c. motif on the back wall) and fun-tastic ice cream parlor for the 21st century.

Translation? Plenty of spots throughout where you can stage videos or photos for your social. Or just sit back and savor a few scoops.

Also, I have to tell you how impressed I was to see that there is someone making the waffle cones right at the counter where orders are placed.

I mean, it’s just NOT something you see everyday, folks.

Yours truly opted for a small cup of their coffee (a very Rhode Island pick if you ask moi).

Generously sized and quite yummy: we all scream for homemade ice cream, amirite?

If you’re already a fan, don’t think twice about adding this location to your Summer 2022 Treat Rotation.

If not, you’ll want to hop on the bandwagon toot sweet, perhaps with a post-beach i.c. excursion?

Find the brand-y NEW Clementine’s at 2934 South County Trail in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
