The Delicious Providence Pizzeria For Pies, Soft Serve Ice Cream, And Fries

We went back to Pizza Marvin in Fox Point the other day, and guess what?

I have converted Tom into a SUPER fan now, too. (If you’re already a fan girl or boy, you need their signature merch. See photo above.)

We are not alone but tons of locals and visitors say that this is the yummiest pizza in all of RI.

Their classic CHEESE is a scrumptious melody of flavorful sauce, cheese (they don’t glob on the cheese which I for one appreciate), and fresh basil on top. Perfectly cooked and we got our order in about 15 to 20 minutes.

The crust is non-thick (I always feel like I’ve eaten an entire loaf of bread after a few pieces of deep dish pizza), crunchy at the edges, and isn’t too hard or soggy overall.

I also had a STRAWBERRY soft serve topped with chocolate and rice crispies. Kinda of a splurge but I’m not sorry. Tasty without being overly filling. No eater’s remorse here.

Also love that the soundtrack; those of us who frequented the PVD rock clubs of the early 90’s will heart.

In the mild weather, folks take it outside (AL fresco) and it really is hopping near that George M. Cohan statue (Give My Regards to Wickenden Street!).

Regulars go gaga over their Burrata, Roni Island and the vegan pies.

And don’t sleep on their ice cream, the fries, and wings.

Remind your foodie friends that the Chef (co-owner) Robert Andreozzi was a semi-finalist for the 2023 James Beard Foundation Awards.

Find Pizza Marvin at 468 Wickenden Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
