We Visited One Of The Cutest Cheese Shops In Rhode Island

Saturday at WEDGE in Warren (RI)

Open almost a year and a half, this charming cottage features a plethora of gourmet cheeses as well as local sips (mocktails from Kristi’s Kraftails for one) and provisions like honey (first time seeing Little Rhody Beekeeping) , butter (I honestly couldn’t leave without the sea cultured BUTTER), crackers, jams, syrups and spreads (a vertiable condiment-palooza), and even their own merch.

Walking into Wedge on Water Street — especially on a sunshine day — feels like a stress-free getaway from daily life. (Who couldn’t use some of THAT right now?)

We were there late Saturday afternoon (which was most definitely the better of the two day weekend) and I fell in love with this cute and beautifully curated spot.

Psssst…It’s also a door or two down from another one of my go-to’s, Cafe Water Street.

And the cheese I sampled? I’m no expert but can and will say with a great deal of confidence that each and every one was more DELECTABLE than the last.

Regulars rave about all the new cheeses they’ve been introduced to there, not to mention the custom boards (cheese and dessert…get both and be a hero next time you’re looking for a hostess gift) they’ve ordered and been so darn impressed with.
